BioAkeboshi Tenten was born the only daughter of a hard-working family that resided in the Oceanside location of Kyoto in the Kansai region of Japan. Her parents had settled there after leaving China interested in a better, more wholesome life for their family, and Tenten enjoyed the fresh air and almost royal atmosphere that still filled the once Imperial Capital of Japan.
Her days were filled with learning various martial arts such as Karate and Ju Jitsu along with participating in the sports offered by her school. Tenten discovered that ever since she was little her natural talents with speed and agility lent itself well to gymnastics, soccer, track, and even archery, but found that her true passion was weaponry. She began to work odd jobs around her neighborhood so that she could earn money to feed her passion for weaponry, and ended up learning a lot from her father who worked as an electrician in the city.
It was during her time as a more hard-core martial artist, when she was competing, that she became acquaintances with two young men who would shape her future – Rock Lee and Hyuuga Neji. She continually found herself running into them at various events, and over time she realized that gaining their respect on the martial arts circuit would be one of the smartest decisions she ever made.
Still, the time came when her family wanted to send her off to a better school, in order for her to gain a degree and become a successful member of society. Considering her extensive background in martial arts, sports, weapons knowledge, and her skills with electronics, many of the colleges were more than willing to accept her. Still, she had her eyes set on the big city – Tokyo, a place of promise. She gained acceptance at Tokyo University, and thanks to her fathers’ contacts gained a job as an apprentice electrician for one of his friends in the city.
